If your accommodation is near the main sights included in your tour, your guide will meet you right at your hotel or apartment. If it’s a bit farther out, we’ll recommend a convenient meeting point so you can make the most of your time exploring.

What should we wear for the tours?

Budapest has a mild climate, but it varies by season. In summer (June–August), it’s hot and dry—light clothing, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and sunglasses are ideal. Spring and fall are pleasantly warm, so layers like light sweaters or jackets work well. Winters can be chilly, so bring a coat or warmer layers. Whatever the season, prioritize comfort and wear good walking shoes.

Is transportation included in the tour?

Transportation is not automatically included in walking tours, but we can arrange private vehicles, airport pickups, or countryside transfers for an additional fee. Just let us know what you need when booking.

Just you and your group — that's it. All of my tours are completely private. You won't be sharing the experience with strangers or joining a larger group. Everything is tailored exclusively to you and your travel companions.

Is the price per person?

Pricing is per group, not per person. This means whether you're traveling as a couple, a family, or a small group, you pay one rate — not a separate fee for each person. Entry fees to attractions and landmarks are calculated separately per guest. Get in touch and I'll put together a quote based on your group size and preferences.

What happens if it rains?

Tours run rain or shine. Budapest is beautiful in every season — spring and autumn bring mild temperatures and occasional showers, so a light raincoat or umbrella is always a good idea. Summers are warm and sunny, perfect for walking. Winters can be chilly but genuinely magical, especially around Christmas. Whatever the weather, I'll make the most of your time here.

How long do the tours last?

It depends on the experience. Budapest walking tours typically run between 2 and 4 hours. Full-day tours and countryside day trips range from 6 to 10 hours. Multi-day itineraries are also available — just ask.
